Yamaguchi Harumi meets Seibu Shibuya
The reflecting mirror of the times － The world of Yamaguchi Harumi.


In 1970s, there was a phrase called “Harumi Gals”
The women depicted by Yamaguchi Harumi, illustrator.
Her expression of “The strong adult women” were appreciated and used as
commercial posters of SEIBU Department store and PARCO, which dominated the
world of her day.
This exhibition composed of Yamaguchi’s own selection, nearly 50 pieces of
original paintings and digital images of foreign movie actresses whom
Yamaguchi loves and respects.
Still more, with using a flush image effect, we can closer to the detail of
airbrush.

Exhibition period: March 3, 2011~March 14, 2011
