Announcement of publishing JTQ 10TH ANNIVERSARY ARTIST BOOK

Since its establishment in 2002, JTQ has been deeply committed questing for "Sending messages through space as ultimate media" for creating communication spaces.
In commemoration of its 10th anniversary this fall, JTQ will publish the Artist book for recording its creation history. It's the exploration and disclosure of the Space Composer, Junji Tanigawa's philosophy, conception, and creation by Theseus Chan, one of the leading art directions in Singapore. It's another shape of JTQ experience which is expressed through a book. I hope you can enjoy it.

It was everyday's pop-up book, the illustrated diary I wrote in my summer holiday when I was in the third grade of elementary school. It's been almost 40 years now I chose my job to create pop-ups in our daily life. It's been 10 years since JTQ has established. We keep producing "Spaces" and these "Spaces" have been replaced in "Photographs" and still breathing current time. Sterically-produced spaces are transformed into flat-screen. Teseus brought back the value of them into the space by way of "book" once again. The exciting moment of flipping the page is as same as the impression moment to visit the space. It's not just the record of its history, but we want to vividly revive the archived memories.
Calling up the image of space experience, which is "Ichigo-ichie" （Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur）,so the finishing of each book is different.This is the craftsmanship to produce new memory. It's a new experience in the shape of book created by our feelings, both Teseus and myself.
