We are releasing “A Notebook for Continuing to Think.”
This book is not an introduction to what an organization has done,
nor a manual promoting a particular method.
What is written here is the residue of thinking —
the unease that lingers whenever one stands at the actual site of work,
the feeling that cannot quite become words,
and the trail of thought that begins from there.
The space is complete, yet people do not return.
The system is in place, yet it does not stay in use.
The plan is sound, yet reality refuses to move.
Encountering such situations again and again,
a quiet conviction began to take shape:
perhaps the problem is not what is visible on the surface.
What this book offers is not an answer.
It is a set of premises for beginning to think,
ways of framing questions,
ways of seeing the world.
Those who receive it may carry it back to their own sites,
raise different questions,
try things differently.
That sequence — that passing on — is what this book is for.
It is available to download, free of charge.
There is no need to take it as it is.
Take only the passage that catches your attention,
and translate it into the language of your own work.
Unfinished, we gather.
Mid-way, we begin.
The future starts to move from there.
