Since the advent of COVID-19, the world has seen considerable change. Society’s focus has shifted from ‘freedom’ to ‘safety.’ We see the rapid rise of new standards of life. Our global society is massive and complex. The appearance of COVID-19 has slowed the tide of globalization, and has opened our eyes to the physicality – the physical limits, distance – of our everyday lives. Family, friends, society, local spaces. What will our new lives look like? What will we see? Here, we present our thoughts on the concept of “space” – and how this concept will change, and evolve.
